How will YOU celebate the new infallible, inerrant prince of Rome?

I plan on attending the local Freedom from Religion Foundation meeting. That seems fitting enough.
There might be a little consumption of spirits, rather the blessing from spirits, involved.

Another bigot and homophobe, anothier supporter of dictatorial power, another man who wears a dress leading a supposed 1+billion out of 7 billion alive today.

Let's just have a drink and forget about what happened in Rome today. It's really the same kind of day as yesterday.

It's just another old boy in a funny hat who's spent his whole career dumping on the one thing he knows nothing about: sexuality.

I often think that these guys know more about sexuality than we do. They just don't admit it.

and that semen contains the seeds of tiny, perfect human beings and women are relegated to the status of animated flowerpots, ready to be planted.

You see, they're all laboring under the burden of infallibility, the infallibility of all those pre scientific popes. Fact must conform to dogma or fact is discarded.

That's why.

One thing is for sure, I would not be caught celebrating at the Vatican in Rome......can you imagine hanging out in the rain for a few days watching a chimney?

At least it was a short conclave. its length might have kept the CNN and MSNBC reporters from swooning. Any longer, and they would be seeking mental health care in Rome.

a very liberal coffee shop. the kind where you can buy a dime bag of weed in the parking lot under an open sky. the worst part? it was an employee inviting me to an officially sponsored party IN THE CAFE.

..sigh..

i couldn't help it. it wasn't enough to politely decline. i had to know.. WHY!?!?!?

answer: something about latin america, catholicism is big here, and.. basically.. because *celebrity*. like a royal wedding it's not just that i don't care. i am and actively antithetical to it. i am opposed to it. i'm against it.
