Atheists & Agnostics
Related: About this forumSo, the time has come for my annual Zombie movie holiday tomorrow
What should I watch? Rewatch one of the classics? See a really oldie I haven't seen yet (White Zombie with Bela Legosi)? See something newer I haven't had the chance to see yet (Fido or Dead Snow--Nazi Zombies can't be bad, right)?
Any other suggestions?

(111,245 posts)but quite honestly, cable will be such a total gag-a-thon of pious crapola that I'd be sorely tempted to join you.
Instead, I've been saving Les Miserables and The Life of Pi and will watch those, instead.

(22,340 posts)It was great. Some of the singing is a tad rough, but the production value is so great, I was willing to give pass. Some of the performances are stunning.

(111,245 posts)to play Jean Valjean. If you're going to have someone front and center in a musical, it seems that you'd want him to be able to sing.

(23,796 posts)After they get through running all the Easter epics, they are running Pedro Costa's 2000 "In Vanda's Room."

Goblinmonger
(22,340 posts)Looking forward to that tonight.
I wonder if they put the finale tonight just for the Easter connection?

Just a zombie fan, I guess. Scary and funny and both are all good.

(9,356 posts)Well, sort of.
I give you White Tiger. You may want to give it right back...
Certainly not your average WWII flick, though.
A 2012 Russian-German co-production (!!!), it's the story of a mysterious white Tiger tank that appears out of nowhere, destroys whole Russian tank formations, then vanishes.
Bonus Skeptic Points - includes a very...original (and hilarious) (ab)use of Darwin's theories.

(9,356 posts)"Totally lame and totally cool." Yep, that pretty much sums it up.
Fans of Sophisticated Theology will REALLY enjoy the explanation of the "Panzer God."
The battle scenes are generally very well done, with lots of interesting vintage tanks and military hardware running around. I believe the producers had the backing of the Russian government, which may explain that.
