(43,867 posts)And like any red blooded male, I'd go to church with her occasionally to score points.
First time there several people began 'talking in tongues' it was so damn comical I had to make an effort not to laugh. I knew the guy I was sitting next to (who later came out of the closet) and I whispered, "what should I do?" He whispered back "just do what I do," and he closed his eyes and began jabbering incoherently. He then looked over to me and winked.

(60 posts)Gives the holy ones something to do that makes them feel holier than thou. Gotta fill up an hour in church with something.....sing some Christian songs, kneel a while, pray with your hands in different positions, gaze up into the heavens, beat your chest, sit and listen to some simple minded sermon you heard 1000 times before. Gotta do all of these things to get on God's good side and get into heaven.
