We're apes, not monkeys. (So is the chimp on the billboard, fwiw.)
Edit: The author of the article doesn't seem to be all that current on evolution, either. She says "we are more closely related to apes" but, again, we actually are apes, Great Apes.

I particularly enjoy the devolution theory as proposed in the "making a monkey" billboard. Nice to see an articulate, meaningful approach from a religious fundamentalist. Even if they believe this idiocy do any of them think a billboard will change a non-believer's mind?
I am unaware of any time since the dawn of man that preaching to the choir has converted the opposition to a cause.

That one is probably the most hateful of all of them. I wouldn't even expect most religious people to go so far as that.
