Or at least bio-mechanically demonic, I caught this at PZ Myers Pharyngula. HR Giger is dead alas.
My visions of Hell owe quite a lot to his work.

Too bad. He made some great, if somewhat disturbing art, and played a pivotal role in moving sci-fi into a more mature direction.

A HERETIC I AM
(24,363 posts)Do your Google search, click the "Images" label at the top and pick the one you want. Click on it and it will display on your screen with a description and other similar images to the right. There will be two buttons - "Visit Page" and "View Image". Click View Image and it will now be full sized on your screen all by itself. Look at the URL in the address bar at the top and if it ends in ".jpg" you're good. Copy the entire URL and paste it to the text section of your message.
This is the first image that comes up when I search "Paul Wunderlach":
Another way of doing it is right click on any image you find and then click on "View Image Info". That will also give you the URL of that individual picture. You can repost the pic above using that method.
Try it!

Giger was a true artistic genius. His sketches of The Alien and his concept of the ship - that idea that it was grown, instead of assembled, is most certainly the stuff of nightmares.
I had a USCSS Nostromo cap for years;
Rest in peace, HR.
