Was there meant to be a picture? I can't see a reference to one, even in the source code for this page.

Her mind became a blank slate, she attained a higher state of being. Her thoughts transcended the material plane and the post encapsulates all that she now knows.

But it was a topic in GD, a good way to think of forcing women to bear a child when you could not legally force her to say donate blood.

it devolved, and an 'every sperm is sacred' kind of poster joined in the conversation until they were locked out of it.

and couldn't believe how quickly it got hijacked.

I didn't bother to post in it, since it was such a mess. Too bad that the original intent got lost.

Thanks for posting it---even if it didn't go the way you hoped. But then again, it showed some people for what they are. Always good info.

What surprised me was the following stats on the thread;

353 replies, over 11,000 views and 248 recs, BUT...when I look at my "My Posts" tab it shows only 31 responses to the OP!

So it was, for the most part, one giant subthread because one certain individual decided to throw his dick out and then step on it over and over!

Honestly, that thread is the most active I have had since The French Onion Soup thread I put up in the Cooking and Baking group a year ago last February! That had 99 responses (probably half were mine responding to others) but over 20,000 views!

for starting my evening reading here with a good laugh. Yes, one individual did step on his dick.

Now I have to check out that French Onion Soup thread....I am not exactly the cooking and baking type, so I missed it.

I'm usually not one to go in for purity tests or anything like that, but this is one issue where I absolutely would. If you're anti-choice, I'm not certain you're a democrat, and you're certainly not on the left.

The whole, 'I'd force in woman to give birth to my child' thing made me sick to my stomach at first, then it just got ridiculous as he dug in.

Should have been a non controversial topic on a left wing discussion forum.

Yeah.."dug in" is exactly what he did.

I kind of got the impression that fellow is fairly young...like in his twenties. Old enough to have a wife but too inexperienced to know better!

Yes, the whole forced birth thing was truly astounding. Something I never thought I would see on a Dem site
