Any other 1-line meaningless missives that get thrown around so much you'd think the poster gets a quarter every time they post that you'd like to share with the group?

are the ones who post almost nothing but one-liners. Not sure if they're just vapid, or if they're hung up on passive-aggressive shit-stirring and trying to provoke people. It's not even so much that they're wrong about most everything and contradict themselves all the time, as that they can't even manage to express a thought that gets past the subject line. I got tired to having my screen clogged up with meaningless pap, and tired of even watching other people waste time trying to engage them in rational discussion.

But, there are still some who find those posters (not naming any names here) wonderful and profound in their "brevity". They're welcome to it.

It is so frustrating to click on a post to find that the poster had nothing more to say. It isn't like "nt" or "eom" is that difficult to add, and I think it is just rude not to add it. I had never posted on a discussion board before coming here, and I learned that one the first week....although I did have to ask someone what it meant. But at least I made the effort to conform and be polite.
