It always scared me and made me uneasy.
What did it mean? That we should STARVE in the future, so that
we would appreciate how good we have it tonight?
HATED that "grace"....

(26,104 posts)Is that they don't include the phrase, "and bless the hands that made this meal", normally referring to the woman who cooked. Makes me wonder if this is now widespread. Can't dare give credit to a woman for anything now.
