What should happen to women who have illegal abortions?

If you've never seen this video, it's pretty amazing. They ask a bunch of abortion protestors - if abortion were illegal, then what should be the punishment for a woman who has an abortion?

(Posted here just because these are very religious people who have religious reasons for opposing abortion - and I think this illustrates the limits of religious thinking.)

or, more precisely, didn't have. I almost didn't open it because I thought it might be too inflammatory. It is really amazing.

4. I saw this a while ago

Truly it was amazing to see them try so hard to think through how they felt about it. Like they stopped at "it's bad and should be stopped" and then kind of just kept shouting that.

and if you ask them to go any deeper, they can't.

The human race, on the whole, is just not smart.

9. It's not that they don't have punishments in mind

it's that even as dumb as they are, they know the punishments they have in mind are so extreme that saying them out loud will strip them of what little support they have. It's the same reason they almost never say what they think of birth control out loud.
