are the folk who think that saying "New Atheists are Dumb" is an argument for anything.

Well, no...take that back...even dumber still are those who post articles written by someone else who thinks that saying "New Atheists are Dumb" is an argument for anything.

Followed close behind by those who think that most religious people understand evolution, despite gobs of evidence to the contrary right at their fingertips. And who would have been eviscerated in the more civilized and intelligent chat rooms they USED to go to for posting such demonstrable nonsense.

There is not one scintilla of data presented by this author to substantiate the claim that "People who post hit pieces by right wing bigots on DU are dumber than New Atheists". Not one.

The inability of the average web reader to actually get past headlines and be able to analyze information is probably one of the most dangerous trends in the world right now. People will believe anything they are told if it suits their agenda.


Like believing that they're smratter than Daniel Dennett because a right wing bigot said so.
