That book changed the way I see the world. It's a very liberating work for those still mired in superstition, but open enough to consider the book.

I used to keep a copy of it on my desk at work, turns out an atheist on 2nd shift was reading it when he ate lunch and it changed his outlook as well.

Hagrid dresses like heavily-built cowboy, Hermione is a chaste girl with a pink bow in her hair and knows when to keep her mouth shut, and Harry Potter faces profound life-determining questions like whether it's okay to be friends with a Catholic. (SPOILER: A little bit, but not really.)
