Lots of things are important to lots of people, but that doesn't automatically make them worthy of respect. which goes back many years, religious people will be offended by just about anything if it does not fit their paradigm and no matter their political view point, be it conservative, moderate or liberal. I find it better to try not to discuss religion unless they bring it up but if they are being obnoxious about their views then all bets are off.

When you come into this group and say something is in bad taste because you disagree expect some sarcasm from a lot of the regulars here. Keep in mind this is a safe haven group and we protect it as much as possible.
