atheists are the most-vaccinated of any group at 90%

and evangelicals are waaay down the list. Isn't that fascinating? Atheists are the highest-vaccinated group of any group surveyed, at around 90%. White evangelicals? 57%, the lowest # on the chart below. Figures. After all, they most-likely place their faith in god and not science, the fools.

This is from a Pew poll. The link to the story is here.

Majority in U.S. Says Public Health Benefits of COVID-19 Restrictions Worth the Costs, Even as Large Shares Also See Downsides
REPORT SEPTEMBER 15, 2021
BY ALEC TYSON, CARY FUNK, BRIAN KENNEDY AND COURTNEY JOHNSON

More than a year and a half into the coronavirus outbreak, large shares of Americans continue to see the coronavirus as a major threat to public health and the U.S. economy. And despite widespread vaccination efforts, 54% of U.S. adults say the worst of the outbreak is still to come.

The toll of restrictions on public activities in order to slow the spread of the coronavirus is deeply felt across groups: Overwhelming majorities say restrictions have done a lot or some to hurt businesses and economic activity and keep people from living their lives the way they want. Smaller majorities say these restrictions have helped at least some to prevent hospitalizations and deaths from the coronavirus and to slow the spread of the virus. Still, when asked to issue an overall judgment, Americans on balance view the public health benefits of these restrictions as having been worth the costs (62% to 37%).

Maybe the Pope saying it was okay and even recommending it have something to do with that.

And we are smart.

Growing up never believed in hell.

I thought hell was Sunday school and Vacation Bible School. The cookies were really good.

don't acknowledge his gifts.

If their god gave the gift of intelligence, which made the vaccine,
they are certainly ungrateful, and their god must weep.

In defense of organized religion , I would say that the three monotheisms all approve of vaccination. But since atheists believe that earth is humanities only dwelling place , it doesn't surprise me that they are the most vaccinated. There is no philosophical argument against vaccination.

cannot recall if the Pope has said it or not. quite a few Christians don't listen to Popey at all.

I mean, if god created everything, he created science too. and earthquakes, and hurricanes, and hydrogen bombs, and Covid, and the Black Plague, and solar coronal ejections.....and ... and ...

the longer you extend it, the more absurd it gets.
