New to this group

Only just discovered it; that didn't take long eh?

Winter has just begun here in Oz and I'm stunned by how damn great our weather is. Warm, sunny, mild and calm. I started thinking this morning that maybe there is a solar flare attack, or an asteroid to hit earth...

Particular interests: global weather drivers that affect SE Australia.

Weather...it’s what we all have in common.

It is late spring here in western MT. We’ve had warmer than normal temps...it’s a worry with wildfire season right around the corner.

Do you live in Australia? I was fortunate enough to visit Lilydale, Victoria with my husband and kiddo in March of 2018. Even though it was a trip for work, we had the best time. What a beautiful part of the world. The bird watching was incredible.

In Eltham. Yes to the birdlife, it's amazing.

I'm now a couple of hours SE of Melbourne on Bass Strait. Beautiful deserted beaches and the windiest stretch of water in the world! Creates some amazing skies and clouds.

I used to share your worry about bushfires, not so much down here with the coastal weather.
