What do you mean when you say that you were never aware of your self?

She was a beautiful girl/woman even as an old lady she was beautiful.

I used to look into a mirror to muse my life...I must say I looked at my reflection and wondered who I was....
and sometimes who I was changed, based on what was happening in my life...'Three faces of Eve' is an extreme case of multiple personalities...I believe there are more subtle changes that happen...going from work as a competent worker to home and to a man who likes 'little girls' and talking in baby talk...without knowing how different you have become is a type of multiple personality...There have even been a few times I have been accused of phoning threats..and I declare I would NEVER do such a thing?

3. You have to differentiate between the self and the Self.

The two are different entities. The self is your ego, personality, and body. The Self (capital S) is a much deeper part of people and is common to everyone. The Self is the same thing in everyone. Some people call it God.
