Amongst the Anime I've watched, Code Geass ranks first, by a large margin.
It's a complex story that spans two seasons of 25 episodes each. At the end, one comes away with the satisfied feeling of having witnessed one of the most epic anime of all time 
Needless to say, its ranked as one of the top 5(or top 10) Animes of all time by most Anime ranking sites, and the Main Character is ranked as one of the top five Anime Characters of all time...The extent he will go to make the world a safe place for his disabled sister to live is truly breathtaking. The philosophical dilemmas faced by the characters throughout the anime really make this one stand out from the rest of the pack.

The Entire series is available for view on YouTube, courtesy of Bandai Entertainment. however I would suggest the 720p or 1080p HD versions for a much more vivid viewing experience. sadly the HD version is not available on you tube.
