(1,309 posts)But the democrats are the big tent party of inclusion. We take the pervs, whether they be just narcissists, so called liberals who are conservatives on economic policies, and anyone claiming to be for women and minorities. Heck us progressives are seen as the minority with views just too left of center to win an election. But Weiner for Hillary, I hope Trump does not translate that into a campaign slogan.

(45,251 posts)So, would Weiner have preferred that Sanders run third party, as did Nader?
Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
If any of these creeps were capable of being honest, they would admit that their real issue is that Sanders is running at all--especially since he's doing so much better than they expected.
If they can't take a joke....

(30,058 posts)"Hillary brings out the big gun Anthony Weiner", I listened to the video, did not hear anywhere in the part you included where Hillary brings out the big gun, is this your personal opinion? What I heard was Weiner questioning Sanders changing his position and is now running as a Democrat, in fact several times he questioned Sanders changing his position.

(15,480 posts)He's been on the down low for months, but NOW he's available for MSM interviews?
I know, I know, as a staunch supporter of HRC, you would be proud and honored to be seated next to Carlos Danger at a White House state dinner. If you're really fortunate, Rahm Emanuel will be on your other side.

I guess he's sucking up to monied interests and hoping it pays off for him. That's all he will have left at this point.
Well done Anthony Weiner.

(5,141 posts)Why does he need to open his mouth at all? This will do nothing except remind voters that Bill and Anthony prowl around like cats while their wives backs are turned. If they think that is going to garner a sympathy vote or something from us women (I have no proof that this is the case, but I cant think of any other reason to let Weiner talk to the media), theyre dead wrong.

IOW, he makes them look like the corporate neoliberal shills they are. No one likes to be shown up by the new kid.
Lol. This is why blind party loyalty is so harmful. I'm convinced that some partisans on both sides would vote for a bloodthirsty autocrat if they had the correct party designation.

HOW DARE ANTHONY WEINER QUESTION BERNIES ETHICS. Hes not just like me, Weiner. Bernie is what our party used to be before the Turd Way turned it on its head.
Hes explained why hes running as a Democrat ad nauseum. Hes bringing young people into a shrinking party. So fuck yourself and your our party crap, you dont represent our party an eighth as well as Bernie does.

(441 posts)without the campaign's approval. It's interesting that with all the support they have within the party they couldn't get someone else to do this. Perhaps, the establishment pols are starting fear Bernie and his movement. Anyway, Weiner keeps on disgracing himself and I had high hopes for him once.
