I think I know how things work, and then some new bit gets thrown in.

it seems to me based on some posts that I have read, that some O'Malley supporters here on DU seem a bit antagonistic towards Bernie. I hope I'm wrong on that, but I guess we'll see.

5. Actually I don't think O'Malley supporters are antagonistic toward Bernie at all....

Just because somebody doesn't worship Bernie, it doesn't mean they are antagonistic toward him.

It's possible they like Bernie, but just prefer another candidate like O'Malley or Hillary.

Crazy concept, huh?

that's why I said "it seems" based on posts I have read. As I mentioned, I hope I am wrong. My only real exposure to O'Malley supporters has been on DU, so that's all the info I have to go on.

That's pretty sad actually.

You need to get more involved in politics, then you'd run into O'Malley supporters outside of DU.

13. I'm involved and the only MO'M supporters I've met are on this board, also.

One caveat: I am personal friends with a MO'M supporter on this board - outside of DU.

You'd think, being in a Southern state, that I would run into some in real life, but I don't. I happen to like the guy and don't really understand why he hasn't gained more traction.

they will support whoever gets the Democratic nomination.

but I clearly haven't studied every MO'M supporter's preferences. I will say that MANY, both hrc + bernie supporters, have said that MO'M is their # 2 choice.

8. Thankfully, I don't have to participate in a caucus to vote..

..but my understanding is that if one's preferred candidate doesn't reach a certain threshold of support, then the delegates for that candidate (that didn't meet the threshold) have to decide on another candidate to back, right? I just can't remember what that threshold is, I want to say 15%, but I'm not sure.

So if O'Malley's support isn't over a certain amount then, according to PPP, they will break 2 to 1 in favor of Sanders?

and have many similar positions

if bernie were not in the race and i hadn't been for him since before he even announced, i would be all in for martin.

and no matter the outcome of this primary, i believe he has great things in his future, hopefully a presidency. if not now, later.
