Flashback Dec 2007: Desperate Hillary attacks before Iowa as Polls Sink

One month before the Iowa caucuses, Hillary sees her lead shrinking and begins to launch an attack... only this time it wasn't against Bernie Sanders, it was against then Senator Barack Obama.

The parallels are pretty astonishing, and I think the outcome will be similar. She hasn't learned from past mistakes.

"They happen to like him more... they happen to trust him more, they happen to feel more than a few weeks ago that his judgment is more important than his experience." (On Obama vs Clinton)

"Setting out to reverse that impression today, Clinton claimed Obama ducked tough votes as a Senator and isn't qualified to be President"

"But tonight Obama ruled out a counterattack as Independent experts warned that Clintons new strategy could backfire among Iowa voters...The Clinton campaign is walking a fine line...it can't afford to look desperate or panicky"
