Hillary Clinton cited Barney Frank as someone unaffected by taking donations from Wall St.

Hillary Clinton did a live interview with George Stephanopoulos this morning.

He asked her about the TV ad from Bernie Sanders criticizing Democrats who take millions from Wall Street:

Hillary Clinton cited former Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA) as someone who took money from Wall Street but wasn't affected by it.

I disagree. When Dodd-Frank was in Congress, Senator Al Franken (D-MN) got both houses to pass an amendment addressing the conflict-of-interest that rating-companies are paid by the banks whose products they're evaluating.

Barney Frank in the Conference Committee got the amendment removed.

This is a prime example of how the Washington insider class sees each other.

It is not even in Hillary's consciousness that Dodd-Frank was weak legislation, that Franks took banking money, and that he now works for a bank.

Mrs. Clinton just doesn't get it. She may occasionally mouth the words about the dangers of income inequality, but she is so far removed from the lives of poor and working people that it is all just necessary political rhetoric for her.

I sense no passion from Clinton, this is all like some big political game to her to the only end that she can win.

She talks like she is royalty ... 'Oh, the little people have to be told these things so they know I care ... but my experience informs me of what is best for everyone.'

I've just had it with her today.

...Dodd-Frank, which she calls tough, despite taking money from banks. So she knows he took money from banks.

It's a horrible indictment against Hillary Clinton for using him as an example.
