NBC - Most Searched Candidate Map

NBC - Most Searched Candidate Map

The color purple represented search volume for Bernie. The other candidates each had their own color. The ENTIRE map of the USA. . . Every state was solidly purple.

That, my friends, is a whole lot of new people being introduced to his message, being inspired by his message to learn more.

I already pay out the nose for healthcare - around 18.5% of my gross for shitty, rationed healthcare through an HMO that cares more about cutting costs than it does about giving me and my family the care we need.

Universal healthcare will be cheaper for businesses, and cheaper for the American people.

And if this was Discussionist, I could be SURE some conservative would come on and accuse me of wanting 'free' shit.

Well, here's the deal about 'free' shit. YOURS and MY taxes pay for our government, so why not use that money for stuff that actually benefits us?

And one other thing - WHY do so many people seem to believe that wanting to help all Americans is an extreme political position?

Because it's NOT.

That will be hard to counter from the right. Clinton would need to go to some extremes to match what Bernie is saying. And continuing with the status quo, like Clinton thinks is best, will probably cost her the election.

There's also an interesting thread on DKos of S Carolina focus group testing that gave the edge to Sanders 29-1. Yes, you read that right and it's not a typo.

... according to a dial-test focus group of 30 undecided South Carolinians (all likely Democratic primary voters) being held in Charleston by Chris Kofinis of Park Street Strategies: "Sanders, 29-to-1 -- blowout."

The group includes 14 African Americans; 15 men and 15 women.

I don't know how accurate that is but it's a good sign for Bernie concerning those still on the fence.

When the Google data guy came on to talk about this map, I braced myself for a patchwork of colors, but it was all one color...purple. I then looked at the key, and it was Bernie's color!

Thanks, Hill!

Then when he showed the most googled term...Goldman Sachs!

Thanks, again, Hill 😄
