1. Yes
Because the debate schedule was designed that way.

5. Actually, the schedule was set up in collaboration with the Congressional Black Caucus
And they likely did not want it during the week because they would be in session and it would be difficult for Members to attend, not to mention that Sunday is a good night is a better night for lots of working people who may have to work weeknights.
Of course, the debate has and will continue to be re-run on television and is also available for viewing at any time via the internet. Of course, I suspect that no matter what night the debate was, someone would complain about it, but everything is not a grand DWS-HRC conspiracy . . . |

7. Or, maybe like last night's debate, each debate was scheduled as it was for a good reason
And since all of the candidates agreed to the schedule, it's a little strange for folks to whine about it now.
But I guess it's so much easier and more comforting to assume that the world is conspiring against your candidate . . . |

9. You didn't? I'm surprised at that.
Most politically interested people I know follow the news reasonably closely. They read a daily newspaper, watch news programming on television, visit websites where news stories are published or discussed, and other wise try to stay informed about what's going on around them.
Here on DU, for example, yesterday's debate has been a common topic. It's been discussed, the time and viewing possibilities explored, and expectations of what the debate would cover talked about almost endlessly. It's been in the newspapers, on TV, and generally mentioned frequently in almost all news outlets. So, I'm afraid I can't offer any pity. I can, however, offer some advice. Do a news scan on a daily basis at whatever venue appeals to you. There's a lot going on out there that is worth your attention. |

10. I'm afraid I've tuned out a lot of what I read on DU -
too much bickering.
