Maybe part of the reason I quit going to church every week. That and being told that I need to be a republican.

And Hillary will only make it worse. People out here are not able to survive anymore
We need the whole damn thing to change massively. We don't need a corporate sponsored , lying, manipulating weathervane.

Preach on Bernie!

He tells you the flaws, but he's also offering solutions and hopes you'll work with him to improve on those.

I don't like it when people make decisions on half the information presented because they didn't pay attention!

Public speakers who imitate bible-thumping preaching, politicians or others, raise the hair on the back of my neck. It's a conditioned response.

I don't get that reaction from listening to Sanders.

I do note that he continuously urges us to come together to achieve things. You know. "If we stand together, we will win."

It's a message of hope. It's not about how bad things are, but about how, if we will come together to do the work...the extended, long-term work, we can make our country and planet a better place for all people.

He says this again and again and again, in some way, every time he speaks. I'm sorry you didn't hear that.

than lied to. When I watched the feces flinging contest/I mean, the R 'debate' such as it was, I knew I was hearing nothing but pure, unadulterated lies all night long. I guess I'm more of a substance over style type. The words themselves are not only correct but important.

helping people here in SK who had suffered more during the depression than anyone else in Canada was to enter politics. He accomplished many amazing things besides introducing his medicare plan. All of them loudly protested against ......... but he did it.

Sanders was never a preacher, but if he had been, I'm sure he'd have been like Douglas - a compassionate man whose heart hurt watching those around him suffer.

We need a politician who will, express what many people already know i n their guts,. that we have screwed the pooch as a nation, and have sacrificed democracy and equal opportunity to an oligarchy of billionaires and their minions. We have to acknopwledge oput problems as a step to improving the situation and moving in a better direction.

Saying "everything is fine and we just need to do a little tweak" is not gonna cut it.

But I'll admit that Bernie does tend to start out and express more passionately the negative. The positive is all part of his message, but by temperament he seems to emphasized the darker side'. I do wish he had a little more Wellstone, who was equally honest about the problems, but also had the ability to be upbeat about the solutions.

His level of preach has vision that encourages togetherness. He is able to work with other preachers of other sects. He's nuanced about danger: he only sees enemies who would endanger our lives and never tries to foment fear.
