'Will Hillary Clinton Be Prosecuted?' Top Google Search pre-debate

Two of the top searched questions on Google for Hillary Clinton are likely not about the themes her campaign hopes to highlight.

"Will Hillary Clinton get prosecuted?" is most searched question on Google ahead of the Democratic debate on Sunday night. "Will Hillary Clinton win the nomination?" is second and "What did Hillary Clinton do that is illegal?" is the third.

For Sanders, the top question is much more positive. "Why is Bernie Sanders so popular?" followed by "Can Bernie Sanders win?" and "How old is Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders?"

when the top question people are asking is whether said candidate will be facing criminal charges....

Not great? Ok, I'll say it, it's pretty damned dismal.

No, it's not Google's fault for not suppressing the information, and no, it's not a nefarious plot by "Bernie's People" going clickety click thousands of time.

Did you see the purple map? That was the map that showed every state in the continental US was searching the most for the purple candidate...Bernie Sanders.

Says two things: 1) He's still new and people now want to know what he stands for and, 2) It's a majority of searches.

Does that mean victory? No. Does it indicate momentum which has been happening now for some time? Yes.

It would be very easy for a RW group to hire a large number of people - or just get interns, to spend a day googling the exact same words as many times as they can for a day. I doubt that google checks to see where the search requests come from.

Not to mention, this could be Republicans -- who for at least a year have had that out there as a possibility, getting frustrated and checking to see if the Great Pumpkin had come yet.

This is something that will either happen or not happen, with no impact from the number of people who think it likely or the number who want it. I honestly don't know what would happen if there is a potential case - most likely against some HRC subordinates. Note the FBI itself has denied they are investigating HRC and she just said they never spoke to her, however it is an interesting question to be asked in the hypothetical. Charges do NOT equate to guilt and levying them would be a political game changer.

Though it was the media, not the Justice department, the NYT held the story by James Risen that was essentially about the NSA getting the phone info until after the election -- because it could have swayed the election. How much more likely would charges against HRC staff be? I think it would most likely be held until after the election. (Why? Assume the indictment ended up in no charges or an acquittal, but meanwhile HRC lost the election partly based on that. There is no way to compensate her, the Democrats etc. Now look at the other side of the coin, the charges are hidden and HRc wins the election, the charges are then made public and her staff members (or worse HRC) is found guilty. Lets say in this extremely unlikely case, Democrats persuade her to resign (or not take office) and the Democratic VP becomes President. Which gives Americans a government closest to what they asked for?

Published book do many many Google to insure that their book related links are the first seen when their book is released.

I realize that there are likey lots of Republicans who have been yearning for that to happen. So, some may be real people.

They are quick to make up any excuse to say the Bernie supporters are going to give the republicans the win but refuse to look at this very real posibility of Hillary causing a massive landslide in the republican favor with this or the next scandal the republicans have not yet revealed. And there is still the very high risk factor other health.
