I'm genuinely interested in a great way for him to respond to this because it's obviously so disingenuous of her to even make that remark.

(7,309 posts)... but I'd like to see a very powerful and effective response. It seems to me that this could be the moment where she really fucked up and he could take her down.
She's doing a Rovian attack him at his strength, and if he doesn't respond, like Gore and Kerry, then this is all for naught. I think he should ask everyone to examine in detail, the events that transpired regarding the bill. That way, her attack can be redirect back against her.
That's my two cents, but I'm not a politician or strategists, so ...

(3,160 posts)he cannot be seen as attacking Bill too much as he still enjoys a base of support among likely voters. He also cannot be seen as taking shots at her because then he will called a sexist because she had no official role at the time. What he should do is go after her top economic advisor Gary Gensler who was front and center of the debacle that Bill Clinton signed just weeks before leaving office.

(7,309 posts)See, my way may be wrong, or not. But I haven't seen much discussion on a response (not that there isn't).
So, I'm interested in everyone's opinion about what the response should be. I like yours. Seems simple.
