Rove wants a Democratic establishment candidate

Last edited Wed Jan 20, 2016, 11:29 AM - Edit history (1)

Clinton or Biden or Kerry. There might be an order of preference but the key requirement is an establishment candidate.

He knows full well the Democratic establishment candidates and their supporters will use his actions to argue that it's "proof" that Bernie is who the Republicans want to run against.

People that argue that any D will win in the general election are clueless.

Note: Do you see the tsunami on the horizon if you run an Democratic Establishment Candidate against a Republican Outsider?

1. It's blatantly obvious what Rove and Co. are doing.

And all the convoluted reasoning by Sanders supporters doesn't make it less so. They want to run against Sanders.

because in reality, a Hillary nomination will ensure that the GOP shows up in droves. Let's be honest, Hillary is the most despised politician around. Straight up. You know it, we know it. She's underwater in her favorability and has been since this race began, it's gone no where. Yet reality is that Republicans helped elect Bernie. They voted for him. His crossover appeal is exactly what Hillary doesn't have and this is why he does better in a GE against a Republican nominee. He doesn't have the baggage Hillary has either.

9. You have a problem with building a coalition of voters?

I don't. You need it to win the white house and I hate to tell you but Republicans are quite fed up with their party, many of them are. MANY. They're pissed off and not the sort of pissed off who back Trump either. Pissed because the party left them. Meet the Ike wing who is very much alive and supports Bernie.

We've been through this on here a million times. I'm sure you've read it, maybe not and in that case here you go.

I've talked to many old school republicans of who are disgusted with the Republican Party. Some of them are my neigbors, others when I knocked doors. Lots of distaste, for example, for the war on women and the wrongheaded embrace of tea-party extremism. I believe most of them did indeed vote Democratic in '08 and '12. I hope I had a part in that decision.

But I am never going to become a Karl Rove fan.

That motherfucker can run as many disingenuous ads misappropriating Bernie's message as he wants.

Doesn't change the fact that he's a lying manipulative asshole and always will be.

I hold him personally responsible for lying George W Bush into the presidency and for every act of that vile administration.

The enemy of my 'enemy' is not my friend.

Hope you have a great day.

Great pic and

I ass-umed Militia Boy was talking about Koch bros, as they helped out his daddy w "Americans For Prosperity" propaganda in Nevada. But maybe American Crossroads can run a few ads for 'the cause' too.

2. You know, I am sick and tired seeing Kerry smeared on DU

He was one of the most solid liberal Senators we've had, a great partner and ally of Senator Kennedy.

Rove is a fuck-head. He needs to get the hell out of the democratic primary process.
