(22,308 posts)I understand when it looked like 5-6 (R)s had a shot that it might draw some (I)s to vote there. They are starting to look like a 2 man race and if that continues to be the case, the (I)s may vote for who they want to see become president instead of who they want to win a nomination.
Unless I am mistaken, Bernie has a large advantage among Independents.
Hillary could really lose big if she can't count on the Republican race helping her.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll released Saturday found that 58 percent said the former president has no effect on their support. Twelve percent said he makes them more likely to support Hillary Clinton, and 15 percent said less likely.

IMHO, she'd be better off sending him on an extended overseas vacation. Bubba lovers (voters, not actual lovers) are already on her team, and those who need convincing probably don't care too much for the "big dogger"....
