Donald Trump Suggests Joe Biden Reconsider 2016 Bid After New Reports On Clinton's Email Server

Republican front-runner Donald Trump is suggesting that Vice President Joe Biden reconsider launching a 2016 run, after new reports that Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton's homebrewed email server contained information classified at a higher level than "top secret."

"If [Hillary Clinton is] indicted, she wouldn't be able to run essentially," Trump told WHO Radio's Simon Conway.

The billionaire, rather than floating the possibility of presidential candidate Bernie Sanders taking over the Democratic ticket, proposed Biden as an alternative.

"Maybe Biden, it could be a couple of other people that you and I both know," Trump said.

Biden flirted with the idea of jumping into the 2016 race for months before announcing last year that he would not mount a presidential campaign.

I'm sure he's well aware of the polls that show him losing handily to Bernie.

"Obamacare is a disaster if you look at what’s going on with premiums where they’re up 40, 50, 55 percent.... a private plan and people are going to be able to go out and negotiate great plans with lots of different competition with lots of competitors with great companies and they can have their doctors, they can have plans, they can have everything."

Expect that during the debates except slightly more eloquently as Trump compares single payer to Obamacare.

was too damaged to compete?

Wouldn't he just sit back and tee off on HRC, if she became the Democratic nominee?

Sorry ... I don't believe that trump's advice is being offered to benefit the Democratic Party.

I don't recall if this kind of thing happened in previous elections. We had Monkey Business with Gary Hart, and the army tank and Dean scream, but this is literally second guessing a future event, and then acting publicly on it.

When all is said and done, neither extreme candidates will be the nominees.

Well played tRump. A Biden bid at this point would cause a schism in the party that would take years to overcome.
You think its bad now between HRC and Sanders supporters, doing that would make things infinitely worse between progressives and centerist.

I can tell that not even DWS is so twisted by self-interest to pull a move like that. That would be political hari kari and tRump knows it (actually, I doubt he thought of it himself)
