2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumSanders character elicits raucous applause at Beach Blanket Babylon in San Francisco.
There is no link; this reporting is anecdotal.
My son works for the production company of Beach Blanket Babylon in San Francisco, the longest running musical review in theater history. https://beachblanketbabylon.com/
The show changes reflecting the current social and political zeitgeist with characters playing the current contenders for the presidency. Gradually as time has gone on, the character of Bernie Sanders has been eliciting stronger, more enthusiastic applause; other characters not so much. My son told me last night the Sanders character got a raucous standing ovation.
For whatever it's worth, people are starting to tune in to the election and really starting to feel the bern.
This is not intended to be a hit and run post. I'm in physical therapy rehab having suffered a slight setback/complication postoperatively (foot drop, temporary they say) and I'm using my son's phone to post this; mine is verboten. Cheers.

(5,815 posts)Which tracks since this is liberal land. I encounter almost no Hillary support in my day to day life. Not even in the LGBT community here.
BBB is a lot of fun. Expensive, though!
