1/2 the FP Experts Signing Clinton’s Anti-Sanders Letter Have Ties to Military Contractors

Here are some of the letter signatories’ current employment positions that were not disclosed in the reporting of the letter:

* Former Assistant Defense Secretary Derek Chollet, former Pentagon and CIA Chief of Staff Jeremy Bash, and former Deputy National Security Adviser Julianne Smith are now employed by the consulting firm Beacon Global Strategies, a firm we profiled last year. Beacon Global Strategies’ staff advises both Clinton and Republican candidates for president, including Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. The firm makes money by providing advice to a clientele that is primarily military contractors. Beacon Global Strategies, however, has refused to disclose the identity of its clients.
* Former Undersecretary of State Nicholas Burns is a senior counselor at the Cohen Group, a consulting firm founded by former Defense Secretary William Cohen. The firm “assists aerospace and defense firms on policy, business development, and transactions,” including deals in the U.S., Turkey, Israel, and the Middle East.
* Former Undersecretary of Defense Jim Miller is an advisory board member to Endgame Systems, a start-up that has been called the “Blackwater of Hacking.” Miller is also on the board of BEI Precision Systems & Space, a military contractor.

The plane was going to be built, is almost completed, and the decision was to either build it in Vermont or So. Carolina.

While I think this is a shitty aircraft, and I also do not believe the scuttling of the A-10 program is a wise thing to do either--it's stuff that's in the works. While there is a chance that the A-10 will be saved, there is ZERO chance of the multi-national F-35 being canceled.

This is pragmatism, so either you like pragmatism or you don't! Pragmatism sucks, doesn't it?

Mega bucks if you're in the less than 1% of the military industrial complex.

I'm convinced that another institution that should be outlawed is the private for profit mercenary complex; which does nothing but leech funds away from the nation's public military, removes accountability for cowardly politicians too timid to pay for their military misadventures and answer to the public for body counts, they're cost inefficient, while also being a loose cannon on the International scene.

Thanks for the thread, Fawke Em.

"Abandon all Hope, ye who enter the Team Weathervane Camp."

Hillary believes it's only "practical" to suck up to the corporations that work day and night lobbying Congress for the chance to murder more innocent brown people.

It's sort of like how she's taking millions and millions of dollars from corporations so she can buy her way to the presidency and magically dissolve the Citizen's United ruling that has allowed her to take millions and millions of dollars form corporations so she can buy her way.....

Do her supporters really believe that crap?

You'd think as long as she's been in and around politics she would get a sense of what will and won't work.

I heard on the NBC Evening News that Hillary uses a TelePrompter, even at small rallies and gatherings. Can't she formulate a thought or comment that hasn't been scripted?

Hillary has had years to prepare for this run for the presidency and this is the best she can do. Really, really sad.

Nope. And the really amazing thing is that, despite all the Herculean efforts to keep the campaign on track, it seems to commit a major fuck-up on a weekly basis.

Death Merchants - Defense Contractors. They deal plenty of that shit.
Misery Merchants - Insurance Companies. If anyone knows Misery it's them.
Soul Merchants - For Profit Prison. Souls are lost inside. Trust me, I've seen it.
Poverty Merchants - Banks and Wall Street. This fucking group I know personally.

Enough of this shit. They are immoral and unjust. Time for Clinton to go.

supporters, who do NOT like her War Mongering ways, off. I hope she stays in this attack mode while Bernie continues to take the hight road.

She is so bad on FP, she got just about everything WRONG.

Bernie is far superior a leader on FP and the proof is in his RECORD.

Her Iraq vote was a horrible, and historic disaster.

No surprise the MIC is coming to try to rescue her campaign.

I think it will have the opposite effect. Peoplle are sick of the War Profiteers.
