What Bill C. and HRC forget about being able to afford college

Bill is only in the position of being able to say that he can afford college now because, in the days when he actually went to college, he got government financial aid to get his undergraduate degree. It was only because he got this aid that he got the chance to earn a Rhodes Scholarship and go to Oxford.

He only got that chance because of low tuition and government help.

If it hadn't been for that, he would probably be a retired convenience store clerk or at best the owner of a McDonald's in Little Rock.

We are no longer worthy of those educational entitlements.

Same with a living wage, or even safe drinking water.

We are chattel, plain and simple.

Our value is of no great importance so why should our government give a damn?

because "the others are worse".

It's politics-as-abusive relationship.

It's negative crap like this that makes them go off and insinuate we are racists, sexists, and we are trying to make it so no one gets health care.

African American students can only afford to start and go approximately 1.5 years until They leave from lack of financial resources. These colleges Wilberforce and Central State provide key counterpoints to the rewriting of history by the wealthy. As a white man, I never recognized how much we needed historically black universities such as these until I saw what Howard Zinn learned from Spellman College as related in his book, the People's History of the United States. I think everyone should read this book which has been used for decades to teach college students to think and consider.
I support diversity and the continuation of historically black colleges, is key to the that. We old white guys have much to learn and it is very rewarding to do so. I also find Bernie's plans for education to be more supportive of the historical black colleges.t Go Bernie!

You could go to a public college for free in California until Ronald Reagan, the King of Dim, became governor.
