All we need to know about how Clinton feels about us and Wall St. right here in these 13 little words:
"...reassured the crowd and told them that banker-bashing was unproductive and foolish,"
Got it.

Here, from this month, Warren praised Sanders plan:

Echoed him again here in here own speech just a couple of days ago, saying this:
The first votes will be cast in Iowa in just 11 days. Anyone who shrugs and claims it is too hard has crawled into bed with the billionaires who want to run this country like some private club. - See more at: http://newbostonpost.com/2016/01/22/warren-bashing-citizens-united-echoes-sanders-more-than-clinton/#sthash.TlPCAD4W.dpuf

Thanks.

(41,600 posts)dollars, bankers deserve to be bashed, investigated, tried and thrown in JAIL!
If you haven't seen the Big Short, you need to. The criminals on Wall St. knew exactly what they were doing and belong in jail. Ms. Hillary W. Bush can dismiss it all she wants, but they're GUILTY and we're NOT bailing their asses out when they collapse our economy again!
<Snip>
But it turns out that that $700 billion is just a small part of a much larger pool of money that has gone into propping up our nations financial system. And most of that taxpayer money hasnt had much public scrutiny at all.
According to a team at Bloomberg News, at one point last year the U.S. had lent, spent or guaranteed as much as $12.8 trillion to rescue the economy. The Bloomberg reporters have been following that money. Alison Stewart spoke with one, Bob Ivry, to talk about the true cost to the taxpayer of the Wall Street bailout.

(975 posts)Arresting and imprisoning them is the least of what I'd do.
Business, home, marriage and finally my fucking dignity. All of it because of these scum. I won't forgive and I don't forget. And people wonder why so many of us can't stand Clinton or the immoral fucking people she protects.
And some economists believe it was $22T stolen, but since there was no records we have no way of knowing for sure.

(41,600 posts)They destroyed MILLIONS of families and did it deliberately! That's a crime and they belong in jail. Trust me, I think jail is too good for them too. Especially since they'd just be sent to their club-med-for -the-wealthy prisons. Maybe a firing squad or Saudi Arabia would be more appropriate. I'm against the death penalty, but if anyone deserved the death penalty, it would be the Wall St. THIEVES.
And Ms. Hillary W. Bush supports them and what they do....all for the almighty dollar. She's one if them.

(17,881 posts)...in place of actually manufacturing things is hunky dory! Why, instead of good paying manufacturing jobs on which the middle class and class mobility was built, the plebs can all be baristas at Starbucks! Forget that growing income inequality stuff. All is well.
Sometimes, I really, really hate that woman.

(2,262 posts)Inside Job, you really need to. It is online free via Vimeo. Just search the title. It goes into deep analysis that's very easy to understand. And it shows the players who actively and passively protected the banks, rating agencies, insurance companies and other players and allowed the crisis to grow and exploded. Bill Clinton, Henry Paulson, Robert Rubin, Allen Greenspan, in particular could have prevented or limited the destruction. But chose to look the other way. And now, one of these players has a spouse running for office to allow it to continue.
