71% of Democratic voters think Hillary has a better chance than Sanders to win the general election

Nearly three-quarters of Democrats say they expect to see her name atop the party's ticket come November, including nearly half of those who say they support Sanders. She is also broadly viewed as having the better chance to win the general election: 71% of Democratic voters think Clinton has a better shot than Sanders.

It is exciting, I will say that.

Historically they arent all this exciting.

I am thankful we have what amounts to two candidates who are both VERY strong on social justice.

Who dont hate minorities and foreigners.

There are many, many reasons I think this. For one thing, I think she's a poor campaigner. There is a lack of enthusiasm for her. Support for her appears dutiful. What excitement she does generate is about her gender. Her unfavorables are startlingly high. She is the most admired woman in the country but also, undoubtedly, the most disliked woman in the country. You can add to that, her email kerfuffle which will be an issue. There's a to more- the primary is weakening her, for example. I think she could win against Cruz, but I doubt she'd prevail over Trump or Rubio or Kasich.

If you asked most people in 1948 (including newspaper people obviously) who they thought would win, most thought Dewey would win. As it turns out that did not mean most of them were going to vote for Dewey themselves.

When that news gets leaked, regardless of what happens after that,
71% of Democrats will probably think differently about electability.
