(1,754 posts)Yelling makes everyone sound and look mean. Everyone gets angry or frustrated and yells from time to time. I understand the impulse and give in to it from time to time myself. To say that she shouldn't yell because she is a woman is just flat out sexist.

OrwellwasRight
(5,170 posts)It actually wasn't. The 90s was the last hurrah of the rising tide lifting all boats -- and much of it was created by sending wives to work and the first efforts to expand credit (that eventually got out of control in the 2000s).
So was some poverty alleviated in the 90s? Yes. Absolutely.
Did she (and he husband) has specific income inequality policies? No. Absolutely not. TANF was not an equality program. Neither was cutting the tax rate on capital gains. Both were actually inequality programs.
