So all of a sudden HRC wants diplomatic efforts first?

Right, we have seen the IW vote, for which she
apologized in a way,

but what about Libya,no it was not mentioned,

what about the no-fly zone, which she proposed,
even while the Russian planes were in place?

What about her thoughts about the Ukraine?
Not mentioned.

All of a sudden "coalition, coalition, etc

When does the weaseling stop?

on Iran negotiations that she sounded as though she did almost all the negotiating on Iran. In fact, there were no serious negotiations until Rouhani was President in 2013. She did a lot of work on putting in the sanctions and for some like Michael O'Hanlon of Brookings were 100% behind permanent sanctions as a solution.

When Obama opened the door to negotiations, there were many times when she was absolutely not all that supportive - especially when there were articles - even a few months before they got a deal - saying that Kerry was wrong to invest that much time and effort for something unlikely to happen. It was Kerry who spent long days over the last 2 years in weeks of negotiations. kerry likely spent more time on Iran negotiations the last week before they got a deal than HRC did over her whole term.

Not to mention - both Obama and Kerry always speak of the other countries involved. HRC ignores that other countries worked with her to get Chia and Russia on board.

Not to mention SCHIP WAS A TED KENNEDY bill -- that he started as a bill with Kerry in 1996 - then got Hatch on board with a state based version of Kerry/Kennedy. HRC did help get it funded by getting Bill to include it in the budget. She did not - as she implied - decide to make that shift and then people to do it. In fact, Kerry and Kennedy did this on their own and it was based on what MA had just done. Kennedy then broadened the support working with Hatch.

There is something wrong when someone with the incredible resume she has that she never credits other if she thinks they are below her and inflates her own credit well beyond anything reasonable.

did the really important work, but she could never
admit to that.

Mind you, just after that nuclear deal was struck,
she started saber rassling right away.

But now, just for the primaries she tries to
make herself into a half-way dove!

12. You would never guess that from all accounts, she was not supportive of the Iran

relationship. She like many neocons - including Netanyahu - were 100% for the sanctions. However, in 2009, it was Senator Kerry sent by Obama to discuss the possibility of talks with Iran with the emir in Oman. That opened the path for secret talks, but they did not really gain traction. She then claims credit for later work by Jake Sullivan in 2013, when he reported to Biden. Those 2013 secret talks led to the public talks.

We all know her schedule - and the number of countries she visited. There were no weeks /months of negotiations like the ones kerry was directly personally involved in.

What bothers me is that this was an incredible use of Obama's political capital and Kerry's time, perseverance and diplomatic skill. This and the Paris climate change agreement are Obama's premier foreign policy accomplishments and John Kerry was the American most involved in making these happen - and both represent years of his life. These two accomplishments are John Kerry's well deserved legacy.

Clinton will likely be President - and it is disgraceful that she is trying to steal the credit now that Iran is seen as a success.

10. No, I don't think that is her intent.

She just wants to keep us in a perpetual state
of war, which means to oblige the MIC, NSA,and
the CIA as well as their corporations. These need
the money and contracts to keep themselves
happy and well fed.

Don't know if it's her intent, but she seems compelled by some sort of destiny complex. Or, else, she's just going to piss off the wrong parties at precisely the right moment, and that sets off some chain of causation. Either way, we're all smoked.
