Republicans aren't afraid of their views

Why should democrats? All I hear from liberal establishment is that single payer, free tuition, climate change regulations, etc are great ideas but just not realistic, so we shouldn't run on it.

The thing is Republicans run on their crazy ideas like tax cuts for the rich, Obama care repeal, Abortion restrictions, etc. It hasn't happened and is unlikely, but they are much closer to it because they keep it in the national conversation. They've convinced their voters and as soon as they get in power they will in act.

Can you say the same about democratic party? For these policies to ever become reality you need to win them in democratic party so they become standard policies. Even if Bernie doesn't in act them during his presidency it at least starts the process.
