and not people working for other campaigns engaging in political dirty tricks and manipulation?
Answer: Not a snowball's chance in hell.
Are you seriously suggesting that none of the self identified Bernie supporters actually support him?
Are you a complete idiot?

(40,656 posts)The author is saying that there is no chance that all of the people that claim to support Sanders on the interwebs are actually Sanders supporters. They are saying that some number here may actually not have good intentions.
The same could be said of the Hillary camp here.
I usually ID them by asking the perpetrators whether they think know their arguments are actually going to convince someone or attract people to support their candidate of choice.

(23,156 posts)And highly offensive at that.
This is the "false flag" bullshit that we see too much of.

Mind. Blown.

(7,865 posts)Sowing division and making democrats hate each other doesn't help any democratic candidate. If they make Bernie or Hillary supporters so angry that they would not vote for the other candidate in a regular election then these trolls will think they have done something. It doesn't matter how absurd it is, we are talking about trolls here.

(2,427 posts)I'd argue the HRC crowd has a few more false liberals, at least here on DU.

(51,523 posts)On Wed Jan 27, 2016, 10:28 PM an alert was sent on the following post:
Q: What are odds that all of the self-identified Bernie supporters are real Bernie supporters
http://www.democraticunderground.com/12511080319
REASON FOR ALERT
This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.
ALERTER'S COMMENTS
This person is accusing Bernie supporters of actually being trolls who work for another campaign. This is bullshit! Bernie supporters are not trolls.
You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Wed Jan 27, 2016, 10:33 PM, and the Jury voted 3-4 to LEAVE IT.
Juror #1 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Unbelievable.
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Hillary and her supporters are routinely accused of being conservatives or Republicans here. This alert is pure hypocrisy. And misrepresents the post. The post is not calling ALL Bernie supporters trolls. The post just suggests that not all are real Bernie supporters. That is a fact. I don't know what basis one would have to object to that statement of fact. Welcome to the internet.
Juror #3 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: It's a fair question. Trolling in politics is not uncommon.
Juror #6 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #7 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Thank you very much for participating in our Jury system, and we hope you will be able to participate again in the future.

Same for HRC supporters. Of course there are people looking to cause dissension. But to claim it's widespread is disingenuous on your part.

I'd say about 100%.
When it comes to wasting our blood and treasure on unneeded military adventures, one is as good as the other.

(10,175 posts)We have come to your world to sell you our artificial Candidate, the Saunders model.
Once in office, we Zigerian's can drain your world of your vast treasures that are owned mainly by your small super class that for some reason you like supporting.
But you have found us out. Your way to smart for us. We will need to give up the campaign now.
Evacuate to the Starships!!!

(22,336 posts)And I don't really have much of a response, other than that supporting one of the two candidates more doesn't mean you can't stand the other. I haven't been as active at DU lately because I don't like seeing either side attack the other side. Both sides attack each other way too hard, IMO. I look forward to the end of primary season.
I plan to vote for Bernie in the primary, and then see who gets the nomination and enthusiastically support whoever that is. I want a Democrat to win the presidency again. I would rather see it be Bernie. I'm from an area that was really hurt by NAFTA and I'm very opposed to trade agreements and corporations that behave like vultures. My personal experience makes that my priority. But I recognize that other people have different experiences that make them focus on different things, and that they therefore choose their candidates for different reasons.

(50,237 posts)They are obviously as stupid as most Republicans and haven't read polls that indicate Bernie could beat all their candidates. But if they want to spend their money making Bernie look even better . . . go for it.
