From what I understand he will also meet with O'Malley, if O'Malley requests

a meeting.

This is a link for an article in Reuters.

The last 2 paragraphs give the information.

It will say page not found.

Scroll down to politics.

3rd article, Sanders meets with Obama.

Hope that helps.

...and the president will *try* and make some time for him.

The White House said the meeting with Sanders had been in the works since Sanders asked Obama for some face time when he saw him a month ago at a holiday party for lawmakers.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest said he was unaware of any request from O'Malley to meet with Obama but that Obama would try to make time for him, if asked.

...but you're brushing right past the insider/outsider theme of this thread.

Ah, the privileges that go with decades as a D.C.political fixture.

We only have one career politician running in this race. Hint: It's the person running who has lost more elections than Clinton and O'Malley have been in.

Sen.Sanders' Committee assignments

Committee on the Budget (Ranking Member)

Committee on Environment and Public Works
Subcommittee on Clean Air and Nuclear Safety
Subcommittee on Green Jobs and the New Economy
Subcommittee on Transportation and Infrastructure

Committee on Energy and Natural Resources
Subcommittee on Energy
Subcommittee on National Parks
Subcommittee on Water and Power

Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions
Subcommittee on Children and Families
Subcommittee on Primary Health and Aging (Ranking Member)

Committee on Veterans' Affairs

Sen. Sanders has also voted with his Democratic colleagues over 98% of the time.

In effect, he shares a decades-long membership in the most reviled political institution in the country with his front-running rival.

Ha, Ha.

He would do it in a manner that would leave Obama questioning himself. He would do it with depth, ideas, and swift, pointed, and respectful jabs that hit home. I really think he is Obama's kind of person. I imagine they would be great together.

...where his top donors were unions?

Certainly you don't mean that Washington, D.C. establishment; part and parcel, for decades, of that political institution which is the most reviled in the nation?
