"The State Department will be denying in full seven email chains, found in 22 documents representing 37 pages," said State Department spokesman John Kirby. "The documents are being upgraded at the request of the Intelligence Community because they contain a category of Top Secret information ... These documents were not marked classified at the time they were sent."

Seems like we are back at square one. Bernie doesn't have the authority to indict and even if he did, he needs the damn evidence to do it and this isn't no damn evidence.

I'm not celebrating. I fear she's gonna be our nominee anyway, and combine this with the demostratively depressing, uninspired, craptastic campaign she's running, and we're in big trouble.

And even if she makes it to the WH, this isn't going away.

Fuck no I'm not "celebrating".

But maybe the people who have spent the past 6 months having a tumblr temper tantrum over Sanders and his evil "berniebros" ought to consider whether this guy they've been fulminating against all this time may actually be our best shot to hold on to the WH, after all.

he came into this deal at like 3% and now he's pretty friggin' competitive.

Meanwhile Hillary has ran a campaign even worse than I thought she would, which is saying something. It also says something that Hillary's supporters here get all excited about a Dana Millbank op-ed which, while suggesting Sanders shouldn't get the nod, calls Hillary's politics and campaign "dreary", "uninspiring" and "inauthentic".

This is the kind of praise they're PSYCHED to get, apparently. So even her supporters seem to grok that there's something wrong.

And all the bargle about "Sanders supporters are alienating people on the interwebs" is just that- a meme being pushed which has very little relationship to what voters are actually basing their decisions on, namely things like issues.

A win or a very very close match. A blow out for Clinton gives her momentum going in to NH, and there's no recovery from that.

This is a key moment for the campaign, and it feels very much like 2004. Only Dean supporters didn't swift boat Kerry.

And Not because they're "catapulting RW memes"- this is a developing, active news story. It's not a jerome corsi swiftboat deal manufactured by Karl Rove.

Especially given that Clinton's supposed strength as a candidate is one of the main pillars of the arguments used to support her. Screw actual positions on actual issues, it's all about "electability"

This weakens her, and it would appear it is not going away. So if she is a weakened candidate, then why are we supposed to support her over Sanders, again?

Whether any of this is legitimate or not, it's a disaster for HRC and perhaps all of us who don't want to see some neanderthal in the White House next year.

Obama will be in the background running interference for her and the MSM will feign shock but allow unlimited time for her press secretary and other surrogates to explain how all of this is just a giant misunderstanding.

But . . . it comes 2 days before Iowa so they only have 2 days to spin it. This has been some kinda weird campaign season.
