In 2015, I gave a total of $261. The campaign said that put me in the top 88% of donors, which would indicate the average was considerably less than my total (also over several donations).

Anyway, nothing could make me a republican and I never got over the greens throwing the 2000 election so I won't go green(and I found out too much about them -inflexible as libertarians only on the left.)

In a sane race I would not vote at all if it came down to hillary though. But, it looks like that won't be possible no matter who the dems pick this year because it is an insane race. I have to stop cruz, rubio, bush, carson, fiorina, etc. etc. Trump however... heck, I'd vote for all those nasties i just listed if it meant stopping trump from getting a hold of our nuclear arsenal. I think this year takes the cake, worst people running ever! Scariest election ever too.

I can't stand hillary for her record because I've watched her too long and she kept going against the liberals. Right now it's all lies lies lies but that's was her action while in congress, lie lie lie, look good to the liberals, vote with the republicans. She is only better than the republicans because she's not profoundly racist, a christo facist, or homicidally insane.

That said, if we don't get Bernie we're screwed with Hillary. The least of the evils has gotten a lot worse, just like the evils have gotten worse. I wonder how long before the least evil finally sinks to this years republican runners...

Bernie has the record behind him and it's astonishing we get such a good pick and that he has closed in on Hillary in the race.

Kasich(sp) nearly sounds sane on the republican side but I saw a clip of him on democracy now that showed he is very much from the republican party. Hence, Bernie is the only candidate that would try to improve America and I believe he would improve the world. It's like Carter running only I think Bernie is far more savvy - not that I don't have a lot of respect for President Carter and any political opinions he offers now a days.

and refuses to yield even when he's dead wrong. I think he's more dangerous with our arsenal. Cruz could be talked to by the department of defense, I don't believe trump could. Trump surrounds himself with yes men and would be firing anyone who tried to say his ideas are bad or so much as didn't agree with him.

I suppose my fear levels hinge on that, but I don't believe a President Trump would act that way. I think he'd govern like your average center-right Republican (think Bush, Kasich, maybe even Bloomberg is a good comparison). I could be wrong but I don't think so. Cruz on the other hand truly believes the stuff he spews. Especially his disbelief in separation of church and state. That combined with watching his and his father's Dominionist preaching videos (don't have it in me to get into the vile beliefs right now) truly frighten me.

But we don't really need to even waste time discussing it, they're all terrible

Wash your mouth out. Hillary not losing the primary will greatly increase the chance of me holding my nose, although I had better be careful not to eat the night before. Three simple words, Iraq War Vote. But what I won't do is stay in a party where the leadership not only doesn't hold the same views as me, but actually works against my views. In the mean time I working hard to stay a member of the only party I've had since 1980. Does that give you enough rope?

If not don't worry, the smallest of consequences from Hillary failing to lose the primary will be me leaving on my own. When I disagreed with Clinton(Bill) I've said so, when I've disagree with Obama I say so, and when I disagree with Bernie I say so. Hillary would receive no less and we both know that would not be tolerated in HillaryUnderground. So I hope you have a lovely rest of the evening.

ALL DEMOCRATS that aren't voting for Hillary are not doing it because they want to become republicans. It's because they don't want to vote for a republican - her record.

Not voting for Hillary means the person is a LIBERAL democrats.

There is no question this person won't vote for her for the same reason. She is Jeb. She proved it over and over and over, stunning the people with Bernie signs that anyone on a site like this would be supporting her after her record.

Asking if they are a republican because they are saying they won't vote for her means you really really really really really don't get the problem with hillary. It aint cause we like rethugs, it's because we don't.

That said, she'll get my least of evils vote and thats it. I recognize she is really really bought by wallstreet and the insurance companies. She should be in jail just for the TPP.

$3 mil/$1 mil = $3.00. It makes no sense. There have to be significantly fewer than one million donors.

Why don't you do something strategic and actually stop posting on this thread.

I mean, you managed to kick it every time you challenge the three million donations thing so the headline keeps sticking. That and your arguments look like quibbling.

Wait, why am I actually trying to help you since I support Senator Sanders?

Maybe it might be because having observed the style of your usual argumentation you actually seem to be making Hillary LESS appealing in the eyes of Sanders supporters.

Please for the love of gods can I at least beg you not to switch sides and help elect Bernie Sanders, you would do us more harm than good.

I wasn't "quibbling." I asked a simple question and engaged in a bit of banter. It's sad that every little thing has become a fight.

I admitted my mistake. And you're right. I lack the winning personality necessary to be a Sanders supporter. I've never even attacked complete strangers on FB. I ask questions. I even admit to being wrong when I make a mistake. Clearly I'm beneath contempt.

Sorry I dared to respond to people clearly so inherently superior to me. I shall try to stay in my place from now on.

Very good news. The reason I'm giving a bit more than comfortable is that, due to some health issues, I can't, at this time, give the kind of volunteer support I'd like to and firmly believe Bernie's candidacy presents the best chance for America -- and, by extension, the world -- to turn in a healthier direction. Any of the other candidates -- Hillary or the Republicans -- will continue down the corporate controlled path to greater economic suffering for the non-rich and destruction of the natural environment that makes life possible for all species and livable for humans. That is an unequivocally bad direction.

I cannot think of anything more worthwhile, right now, than helping elect Bernie POTUS. If he doesn't get the nomination, I'll probably turn my attention to organizations that are actively working in the right direction.
