(146,281 posts)No question about it. He slipped away into wackadoodleness some time ago, and there is no path for return.
His endorsement is probably not a good thing for Bernie, really.

(3,764 posts)Henry Rollins is not a wackadoodle. At least not in my opinion and from what I've heard.
And Joe Scarborough is a right-wing hack but if Bernie or Hillary is interviewed by him no one would hesitate to post it and no one would hold it against either candidate that they did the interview.

(12,704 posts)to those bottom feeders, Jesse is sanity itself. Also I'm actually impressed that he didn't jump on on Rump's bandwagon. And I would say that even if he supported Hillary.

(29,257 posts)The reason his endorsement IS a good thing is very easy to explain and understand if you think about it.
1. Jesse Ventura does have many followers who listen to his voice and may be swayed by his endorsement, and
2. Those who are already voting for Bernie will not be moved from their support simply because Ventura supports him.
Your proposition that it is a bad thing is based on a rather weak premise that there are people that will think something like:
"Oh geez, if Ventura is supporting him, I will vote for the other person."
And, in my opinion, that is a VERY unlikely scenario.
