Santorum: 'We will not compromise' "for a hollow victory in Novermber" (CPAC)

NY Times : The Caucus

(Santorum) said that in the past “we listened to the voices who said we had to abandon our principles and our values to get things done, to win.”

“We hear those same voices today,” Mr. Santorum said. “We need to compromise, do what’s politically reasonable.”

“I think we have learned our lesson,” he said to raucous applause. “We will no longer abandon and apologize for the principles that made this country great for a hollow victory in November.”

Go Rick. Never compromise, reject reasonable politics, all the way the a Goldwater victory in November.

The logic with the FReeps and wingnut gasbags seems to be the Republican Party can only win by staying true to their conservative principles. Good, don't compromise....run on your vision of the perfect conservative State. Then, when you lose by the largest landslide in modern times, you've got another 4 years to think about the message you were sent.

He might have a shot at the general election, though.

Ohhh, no, I don't think he does. Heh heh, Cornholio knows Santorum doesn't know what reasonable means. I need more teepee for my bunghole. Heh heh heh.

Yeah, heh heh, I think Santorum needs more teepee for his bunghole. Heh heh.
