Do you sense a change?

I feel like Progressives are on the move! From President Obama to the progressive media, to Congress and governors (I live in Washington state where marriage equality was signed by our Governor Christine Gregoire today!), to the sisters at the Catholic Health Association. I feel like we aren't backing down as much. I thank the 99% movement, mostly. Perhaps we are looking at fruition of our values and policies!

presidential hopefuls are and really, how nuts the republican party has become.

I would really think, hopefully, that many Americans are now waking up to the fact that the republicans do not represent them and really have none of their interests in mind.

The republican agenda is to F over the majority of Americans.

Yes, I think OWS is helping to wake up Americans.

constipated and others are what we've called radish heads, always fuming about something, blustered and red in the face blowing a gasket.

these things go back and forth, and the media ALWAYS is willing to carry whatever message or meme the Rs are getting behind.

They are not dead, they WILL find traction on something and the "liberal media" WILL carry the water for them when they do.

Just hope the economy remains on its sluglike recovery pace, and there are no terrorist attacks on american soil before November.

I constantly fantasize about the day Charles and David Koch wail like babies upon seeing that President Obama has won a second term, Democrats both houses, and that their millions of astroturfed dollars were a wasted, futile effort at underestimating the intelligence of the American people. It will take several years to undo the permanent economic damage Republicans have caused in one year alone.

It's more like we've stopped the down hill slide. As many have expressed, we've seemed to reach the edge of crazy and the country isn't willing to jump off. Hardly say that is moving in the progressive direction. Occupy has changed the dialogue quite a bit. But we still discuss cuts more than revenue increases.

I think what is mostly happening is that on the economy, the GOP really has nothing. They are fighting tooth and nail for tax cuts for the rich, and they have little else. The people want jobs, and the want their houses to be worth something. The GOP really offers nothing on that and we are seeing "positive" motion on jobs and the economy. Long way from over for sure, but the Chrysler Ad really put the face on the conflict. Right or wrong the democrats are interested in things getting better. The GOP is only interested in ensuring that the people understand and feel their suffering.
