Tx4Obama: First of all I want to say that I am so F*CKING tired of the F*CKING Republicans spewing their demeaning racist disrespectful un-American hateful bullshit against OUR PRESIDENT all the F*CKING time!!!
You'd think that since they do it 24/7 I'd be used to it by now but it still seems to piss me off ALL THE TIME!
FUCK YOU Orly Taitz!
There, I feel a bit better now
=======
At a campaign event in Pasadena, Calif., Gingrich took questions after delivering a stump speech blasting, among other things, "President Obama's war on the Catholic Church" and the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, which recently overturned California's same-sex marriage ban.
After answering concerns about the state of his campaign following a slide in recent polls and primary contests, Taitz came forward, suggesting that the birther issue could provide a "boost" to his candidacy if he made it a hallmark issue.
"Somebody who wouldn't be good enough, who wouldn't be certified to pick tomatoes or clean bathrooms is sitting in the White House," Taitz told Gingrich, reportedly to a mixed reception from the largely Tea Party audience.
"That's a project you should pursue," Gingrich responded. He went on to say that with ongoing economic issues and other mismanagement he saw in the president's agenda, he had "enough issues to debate Obama about."

(62,683 posts)pursue it? That's inexcusable. I hope he gets called on it, but really, what's the use?

(135,425 posts)Our President is a graduate of some of the most prestigious universities in the land. He's very smart, and we all know that. He's also a very effective leader.
For someone to make those tomato picking/bathroom cleaning comments without any sense of shame, irony or a failed attempt to amuse, tells me that this person is clearly not operating in the Reality Zone, and is so blinded by racist hatred that she is very close to being marginalized by even the crazies in the Tea Party.
By their words we shall know them! This woman is an inch from the edge to oblivion!

(27,536 posts)She had some campaign advice for Gingrich, who trails Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum by double digits in the bid to represent the GOP in the fall race for the White House.
She wants him to get on the birther bandwagon.
Taitz, who has led the charge that President Barack Obama was not born in the U.S. and that his birth certificate is a fake, said Gingrich should take the torch from her.
"It could help your campaign like it did Donald Trump," Taitz said, insisting that pressing the birther issue and her claim that Obama has a fake Social Security (card) would propel Gingrich from third place.
The crowd at Castle Green in Pasadena chuckled.

Gingrich ran for cover, for fear of being associated with her. She is routinely mocked, even by crowds of rightwing extremists. I hope she sticks to the GOP like flypaper.
Try to see the humor in this.

(36,974 posts)I guess she doesn't realize that Trump is OUT of the race and also Trump backed down after President Obama released the long form of his BC.

(5,560 posts)Taitz sounds to me like one of them radical feminists; I'm sure Santorum will be demanding that she resign, shut up and go home. I'm also sure I'll see pigs fly tomorrow before breadfast.

(3,425 posts)but picking tomatoes and cleaning bathrooms are both honest, hard working jobs and while they may not be is not on the resume of most presidentiall candidates, they should not be the subject of political jokes and putdowns.
My mother at one time in her life was a maid in a hotel in pre-world war II in London and my father was a coal miner in Wales at the age of fifteen. We were not raised to be ashamed of their hard work, we were quite proud of them but mostly grateful that we did not have to follow in their footsteps. Today, we (society in general) treat this kind of work as if it is only fit for lesser people. That is so wrong.
We will be a much better society when we respect the efforts of all hardworking people.

You're going to have to veil your racism a little less thinly.

I guess he sorta knows that if he needs to get in serius trouble...he can do it on his own...and not get tied to an entire bus load of wack jobs. Caucus Interruptus - Part Douche! (15,071 posts)None of the the GOP candidates will risk losing the teabagger-birther voters by clearly disagreeing with the birther stance. Look for Santorum to include it in his run for the nomination now.
