Related: About this forumPublic backs Obama in birth control fight, poll suggests
It's not even close: By a lopsided margin of 66 percent to 26 percent, Americans support President Barack Obama's proposal to require private health insurance plans to cover the full cost of birth control for women, according to a new CBS/New York Times public opinion poll.
Rephrasing the question to ask specifically about "religiously affiliated employers, such as a hospital or university," barely moved the needle, to 61 percent to 31 percent.

This is a losing issue for the Republicans.

Health insurance needs to be provided to meet the needs of the insured.
If each employer gets to tailor the insurance they provide it will become chaotic trying to figure what your employer provides and what they don't provide.
Finally, no one is forcing anyone to use the services. It should be the consumer's choice what services they choose to utilize and not dictated by the employer.
Just my thoughts...
