If he picked any of them that are more corporate or siding with other viewpoints more in line other views, it would set him up for assassination to get that "view" be placed in as president through alternate means if he were to win. He has to have some degree of shared viewpoints, etc. Elizabeth Warren and a few others like Sherod Brown, or even Tulsi Gabbard might work for me.

Surprised that Jeff Merkley isn't mentioned here. I think it would give the ticket good geographic balance, and have someone that shares a lot of his views. Merkley was one of the first senators to take a stance supporting the view of legalizing marijuana in the last election where he got handily reelected. Now if Merkley somehow could replace Schumer as the person to succeed Harry Reid in the Senate leadership position, then I might think differently, as he has the right approach on reforming Senate filibuster rules to help us more that really should have been passed by Democratic leadership back in 2012.

Tulsi or Keith maybe, but Warren and Brown need to stay in the Senate. Most of the rest listed were far too far to the right, completely silly, or simply establishment as all get out.

With it bringing in a person of color and a mixed Jewish/Muslim ticket which could send not only this country a message by the world a strong message of what the U.S. wants in terms of bridging the gaps of religion, etc. around the world in a greater quest for peace rather than the violence we have with an ISIS-plagued Middle East and reactionary politics of those like Netanyahu too.

Not sure she would do it though, and we need her in the Senate.
Her age,66, would make her 74 after 8 years and she may not age as well as Bernie has

If Bernie passes on Warren for strategic or other reasons, his best bet is to pass over the the boomer generation entirely and go with a real firebrand liberal gen xer like Gavin Newsome. He is just an example. I would not pic him because he got some personal pecadillos that opponents could drag up from way back. But you get my drift.

Experience is overrated. Vision, consistency, and judgment is key in 2016 and beyond
