2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forum(With Super Tuesday basically behind her), Clinton is thinking about a likely matchup with Trump
(After most probably sweeping all but one state on Super Tuesday), Hillary Clinton and her allies are shifting their attention to a likely general-election contest against Donald Trump that they expect to be strongly negative and for which they are planning an intensive effort to draw out minority voters who feel demonized by the billionaire real estate mogul.

(55,124 posts)What else can "wait till the convention" mean? Seriously.

(3,660 posts)"wait til the convention" just means that you should wait until then to see what happens. It wasn't a threat.
threat: a statement of an intention to inflict pain, injury, damage, or other hostile action on someone in retribution for something done or not done.

(8,592 posts)tRump is not the normal candidate. The tRumps are longtime family friends of the Clintons ( along with the Bushs and the Kissingers).
The voting in a GE would be embarrassing for Clinton.
Republicans will drag their naked bodies through a room full of broken glass to vote against Hillary Clinton. She gets very few independents and very little youth vote. If you think otherwise you haven't been paying attention the last 25 years or to the Republican turn-out numbers so far or demographics in Democratic primaries. Winning Democratic primaries in the South doesn't translate to winning deep red southern states in the GE.
Republicans will cross-over to Sanders to vote against tRump. Youth will come out by the millions. Independents will vote solidly in Sanders favor. To think otherwise means you haven't been paying attention or looking at the primary voter demographics.

(10,721 posts)While there can be no doubt that Clinton will be the nominee, Sanders could conceivably win as many as 5 of tomorrow's 12 contests. I don't think he will, but him winning more than 1 is at least as likely as him only winning 1 (Vermont, of course). Even if he does better than expected, though, Clinton will win more delegates.
