(99,710 posts)I know this week is going to be really trying for some people so I am summoning my better angels and call on my fellow Clinton supporters to do the same and ask them to treat our vanquished opponents with dignity and respect.
I am following the lead of General Grant who allowed General Lee to keep his horse and sidearm after he surrendered at Appomattox.
"With charity toward all and malice toward none."
-on edit-changed foes to opponents; a courteous and respectful adversary is an opponent, a disrespectful and discourteous opponent is a foe.

I am sorry...If a person calls me a liar they are my foe.
Oh, I am not saying you called me a liar but that is bad form.

Point one- I literally couldn't care less what you and your associates think of me.
Point two- If you think swearing at DemocratSinceBirth:
is going to make him cower and hide you don't know the first thing about him. It probably has a lot to do with the rarefied milieu from which you come but he would rather savor Hillary's upcoming victories than play an internet psychologist.

(2,646 posts)And no matter what kind of shit you guys fling around I and most of my fellow supporters have never threatened not to vote for Bernie.
DemocratSinceBirth
(99,710 posts)Point one- Folks can vote for whomever they want
Point two- I have no desire to compel folks to vote the way I want. That would betray an authoritarian mindset and the last thing I am is an authoritarian.
Point three- You are correct...I have seen "I won't vote for Hillary if she is the nominee" threads that have garnered over one hundred recommendations. That is in contravention of the TOS:

(12,723 posts)I was hoping that the first time my daughters supported a candidate, they would get better results. Oh well, they will become jaded and sad like their dad at the inevitable rise of the mediocre, corrupt and compromised nature of american politics.

I am devastated if Bernie loses, we need NOW universal healthcare and other things, not later.
But I cant give up completely as long as there is hope, and with a Dem in the WH there is hope
CBGLuthier
(12,723 posts)I do really genuinely fear she will not prevail in the general election which will not be progress of any kind. America hates this woman.

(15,366 posts)then completely over the cliff will be the situation if there is ANY GOPer in the WH.

(15,366 posts)But I had encouraging results for Hillary while phone-banking to Oklahomans.
And despite yesterday's polling news, she was still up by >4% in the RCP spread. There may also be a bit of a bounce from the SC results.
I am still keeping my fingers VERY crossed.

Apparently lying
I cited the information, verbatim:

I cited the information, verbatim. I would tell you what I think of you calling me a liar but it would certainly result in a hide. Since you called me a liar I would respectfully request you screw up the courage, send me a private message calling me a liar, so we can discuss your calumny like two adults.
OKNancy
(41,832 posts)The OP is not lying. It is an entrance/exit poll, it's just not for this early morning.
I hope you will vote for the Democratic nominee.

(1,384 posts)But how can they already have exit polls? How could they possibly be accurate this early in the day? Polls don't even close till 9. Remember, initial exit polls had Hillary losing the white vote in SC when the updated ones had her winning. I wouldn't put too much stock in these just yet.

I'm confused. Anyone know what this is? Thanks.

But that is immaterial. The link is to CBS news:

virtualobserver
(8,760 posts)There is no link to that page on the CBS website. So it is not "released".

(99,710 posts)But if this was an elaborate ruse it was done well . It's been out there long enough for CBS to disavow it. The fact they haven't is indicative it is valid.
Still, it's beyond my ken. I am a social and political scientist and not a computer one.

(8,760 posts)or a placeholder.
CBS didn't have to publish either of those options live on the internet.

(18,402 posts)It's probably a placeholder ... tba later today with real questions/numbers.
One clue is the number of different questions asking essentially the same thing (such as age or political leaning).

The suggestion I lied is palpably absurd and libelous.

(41,832 posts)Oklahoma has a short early vote.
The dates on the link supplied are there for all to see.
I will add that early voting places are limited. In Tulsa it is downtown at the courthouse.
The people who vote there are usually downtown workers.
