(58,785 posts)My guess is that it was just adding up to a critical mass where they started worrying about their own reputations and names. Certainly Todd is no friend of the Democrats and won't let a chance go by to stick a needle in Hillary, yet you see him distancing himself now from Trump and never even mentioning her. Apparently not politic to poke her at this particular moment.

When push comes to shove -- say late October -- no one has signed on to endore First Lady Senator Secretary Clinton we'll know for sure. They'll work against her the same way they did against President Obama.
My fear is that she'll behave the same way President Obama has too: operating Radio Silence.
