I've signed up as a host here, and retired from Help & Meta-discussion. I'm still a host on GD, though, so I've got the whole general discussion thing to read.

but I'm sure there will be political post in GD as well, just like before. Now, the posts will begin complaining about them, no doubt.

9. I was thinking about retiring from GD... BUT

when I went and clicked on RETURE in GD it said:

IMPORTANT: If you choose to continue, you will be removed as a Host of the General Discussion forum and will no longer have access to Host super powers. An automated message will be sent to the DU Administrators and all of the Hosts of this group notifying them of your decision. If you want to return as a Host in the future, you will need a DU Administrator to assign you.

So, that sounded like that if I wanted to volunteer again there that I would NOT automatically be allowed onto the waiting list.
So I backed out and thought I'd find out more info regarding that first.

I volunteered here before resigning H&M, though. That worked.

I meant that if I wanted to RETIRE from GD and then in the future volunteer for GD (not other forums, only that one in particular)
